How To Upload Results To Milesplit Athletes

Uploading Rails & Field Results #1: Overview

This article is an overview of the upload process. For more detailed instructions on each step, use the navigation bar above to view each upload footstep in sequence.

The power of Athletic.net is that any logged in user can upload results for his/her team, but as well for all teams for which results are available. In fact, most common electronic meet result formats are supported for automated import into our system. While the import of the results is automated, we need each person who uploads to have a few steps to assistance usa with the integrity of the information. Once you take those steps, results are typically alive instantly.

If you lot have meet results you would like to upload for an entire meet (instance: Hytek results, RaceTab Results, etc.), and so observe an upload link to get started. Y'all tin find one at the peak left of most run across pages or by accessing the meet from your team'south calendar.

From your team's homepage, click on the proper noun of a see in your agenda, then click on  Upload Results.

Export the complete run across results from your meet management software in the semi-colon delimited results format or use Athletic.net's custom format to upload results not produced by meet management software. On the Upload Results page, you will kickoff on the Upload tab. Click the Upload a file button and upload your complete results file in the format specified.

In HyTek, click File > Export > Semi-Colon Delimited Results and then click the OK push button. In MeetPro, click File > Export > Results and choose the Semi-Colon selection and click OK.

One time the file has uploaded, check to make sure that divisions are matched upwardly properly. They volition automatically friction match upwardly if sectionalisation IDs were not adjusted on Athletic.internet and the aforementioned ones were used in your meet management software.

Continue on to the Teams Tab where you volition review and make sure that each of the teams in the results file is correctly matched upwards to the team listed on Able-bodied.internet.

Next, on the Athletes Tab, you should run into that all athletes from the results are already matched to team rosters on Athletic.net. Go along to the Events Tab where you lot will adjust whatever heights/weights that need to be posted differently for certain divisions (for example, if JV throws a different shot put weight).

On the Timing Method Tab, click the Hand Timing or Fatty button to designate the primary timing method. If specific events were timed differently, you take options below to conform.

Publish Tab – Click the Publish Results button and so click the Mark Official button.
